Step 01

Use Chrome on a computer

Taking a payment needs SwitchKeep Pay in Chrome on a computer. The merchant portal works in any browser, including on a phone.

Step 02

Open the install link

It's in your welcome email. If your setup partner is sending it separately, they'll email it to you. Open it and add SwitchKeep Pay to Chrome.

Step 03

Keep it in the toolbar

In Chrome, click the Extensions (puzzle piece) button and pin SwitchKeep Pay. Clicking its icon opens the side panel.

Step 04

Sign in

Use the email and password from your welcome email. You'll stay signed in on that computer until you sign out.

• If you signed in with a temporary password, you'll be asked to set your own.
• If your business has more than one merchant account, choose which one to use.
• Each computer has one person signed in at a time. Sign out from the side panel before someone else signs in.
• Forgot your password? Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a link to set a new one.

Step 05

Allow it on your software

The side panel asks to allow SwitchKeep Pay on the software you invoice from. Choose Allow, and confirm in Chrome. Then open an invoice: the Pay button shows the balance due.
