This website
- The site runs no advertising scripts. Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookie-free page counts, with no personal data.
-
The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It sets a single first-party cookie, and only when you arrive through a partner's
referral link:
sk_ref, which holds that partner's code for 90 days so they're credited if you get started. - If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your own browser only.
- The "Email us" links don't send anything to us by themselves. They open your email app with a draft you can review and send.
- "Apply" (on the ISO page) and "Partner login" take you to the partner portal, and "Merchant login" to the merchant portal. Each has its own sign-in.
The get-started form
- What we collect. Your business name, your name, email address and phone number, the software you invoice from, your current processor, your rough monthly card volume and, if you choose to give them, how you heard about us and a processing statement.
- Why. To estimate what you'd save, to tell you whether SwitchKeep fits, and to contact you about setting up your account. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
- Who sees it. SwitchKeep staff. If a partner referred you, that partner sees your business name, your name and your software, never your email address or phone number.
- How long we keep a statement. Only as long as needed to evaluate and set up your account. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
-
Spam protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads from
challenges.cloudflare.comto check that a person, not a bot, is sending it.
The contact form
- What we collect. Whether you're a business, a partner or something else, your name, email address and message and, if you choose to give them, your business name, phone number and the software you invoice from. If a partner referred you, their code too.
- Why. To answer your question. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
- Who sees it. SwitchKeep staff.
- Spam protection. Like the get-started form, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads from

The SwitchKeep Pay browser extension
SwitchKeep Pay is a Chrome extension for businesses whose merchant account is connected to SwitchKeep. It adds a Pay button to invoices in the web-based software the business uses, takes the payment, and records it back on that invoice. It does nothing until a user signs in.
Where it runs
- Only on the websites of the compatible software listed on its Chrome Web Store page. It doesn't run on any other site.
- It talks only to SwitchKeep's own server. Card and bank details go to the business's payment processor, as described below.
What it reads and sends to SwitchKeep
- Sign-in: the user's email and password, sent once to sign in. The password isn't stored. A short device label such as "Chrome on Mac" is sent so users can recognise their sessions.
- The invoice being paid: when a user opens Pay, its ID and number, amounts due, and the customer's name and email, to open the payment for the right invoice and amount. Our server re-checks the amounts. If the user sends the full invoice with a pay link, its line items are sent too.
- Payments: the amount, the name on the card and billing ZIP (for address verification) or the bank account holder's name and the authorization they accepted, the card brand or account type, and the last 4 digits.
- Pay links: the customer's email address and the optional message the user writes, which our email delivery provider sends to the customer.
- Saved cards: only when the customer agrees to save their card, a record of that agreement and the customer's ID in the business's software, so the card can be offered next time.
Card and bank details
Card and bank account numbers are typed in a separate SwitchKeep payment window, into the payment processor's own secure fields. They go straight to the processor, never into the invoice page. The processor returns a one-time token, and only the token, the card brand or account type and the last 4 digits reach SwitchKeep. We never see or store full card or account numbers.
Recording the payment
After a payment, the extension opens a small window on the business's software and enters the payment on that invoice, as the user would by hand: the amount, a reference number and a short note. It reads the invoice's balance to confirm the payment was recorded and changes nothing else.
What it keeps on the computer
- The sign-in (a refresh token and the user's email) in the extension's own storage, which websites can't read. The access token is kept in memory and cleared when Chrome closes.
- That the user has seen the extension's data notice, and the results of payments not yet confirmed by our server, so a payment is never lost or recorded twice.
- Signing out clears the sign-in and the payment alerts. Removing the extension removes everything it stored.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't collect browsing history, or read any site other than the compatible software, or any page there other than the one being paid.
- It doesn't track clicks or keystrokes, read location, or include analytics or advertising code.
- We don't sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to decide creditworthiness or lending.
- The use of information received from the extension follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who it's shared with
Only to provide the service: the business's payment processor (to take and refund payments), our email delivery provider (to send pay links), our hosting and database providers, and the business's payments partner, which can see the business's payment records. And authorities, where the law requires it.
Customers whose details appear on a business's invoice should contact that business first. Businesses can ask us about their data at [email protected].
