Is the estimate generator free?
Yes. There's no account to create and nothing to sign up for. Make as many estimates as you like.
Where does what I type go?
Nowhere. The estimate is built on this page, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, your logo included. Your last draft is kept in this browser's own storage so it's there when you come back; Start over clears it.
How does my customer approve the estimate?
The estimate ends with an "Approved by" line and a date line. Your customer signs it and sends it back, by email or on paper. If you ask for a deposit, it shows on the estimate with the balance after it.
How do I get a PDF?
Choose Save as PDF. Your browser's print window opens with only the estimate on the page: pick "Save as PDF" as the destination and save.
Get paid
When the job is done, get paid on the invoice in the software you already use.
